Le Saut XR is an interactive mixed-reality installation created for Le Saut Hermès 2024, the international show-jumping event held at the Grand Palais in Paris.
The piece occupied a dedicated space structured around a monumental sculpted horse’s head, present in the room as a physical landmark and point of orientation. Wearing XR headsets, four players at a time entered a virtual layer that blended with the existing architecture. The real environment became the foundation for a digital world, transforming the installation into a playful capture-the-flag game. Each player controlled a miniature horse avatar visible only through the headset and competed to collect as many flags as possible by moving across the shared arena.

Following its presentation at the Grand Palais Éphémère, Le Saut XR was also installed in the Hermès flagship store on Faubourg Saint Honoré in Paris, where visitors were invited to discover and play the experience beyond the context of the event.
